Week of October 1, 2018
We are in a season where God is placing opportunities before us like never before. Fasting will aid our preparation to have a great impact on our community, city and beyond. Everyone is encouraged to participate in the Fast at the level you decide. Click to learn more.
Have you ever seen yourself as the answer to the problems you see? Well, guess what? You are. And you are, particularly and specifically when you focus your faith outwardly – towards others – and not just yourself. Looking at Thom Rainer’s book, “I Will,” as a backdrop, from now through October 28th together we can become those who say, “Yes, Lord…I Will!”
If you miss a Sunday service, you can keep up with your tithes and offerings with the easy-to-use SecureGive online app. It is quick and seamless, even for your first-time set-up!
There is an awesome opportunity for you to help our youth (6th to 12th grades) grow in their faith and become more effective disciples. You only need to prayerfully consider how you can say thank you to God by serving as a Sunday school teacher during the 11am worship. And, it can be for just one Sunday a month. These young people really want someone committed to engaging them in discovering God’s purpose for their lives. Contact Sherrill Brown (email@example.com) to learn more about the blessings you will receive as a teacher.

Food Donations Needed
Let us not forget that many of our neighbors do not have enough food to see them through each week. Some large families come to our Food Pantry each week so we need to increase our donations. Please bring as much as you can so we can serve all of those in need.
