The Bereavement Ministry seeks to serve The Emory Fellowship, the local community and across the globe by supporting and providing educational resources for those grieving the loss of a loved one through being a caring, compassionate and empathetic presence.

FOR THOSE WHO ARE FUNERALIZED AT EMORY

: Our team:
  • Coordinates the preparation of food and refreshments that will be served to grieving family and their guests at the Repast
  • Provides letters of comfort from the pastor and congregation during the funeral.
  • Distributes grief packets several weeks after funerals;
  • Sends condolences to grieving families
  • Arranges for transportation of flowers from the church to the bereaved family.
