Music Ministry Overview
Director of Music: Curtis R. Harrington, Jr.
My name is Curtis R. Harrington, Jr. and I am the Director of Music at Emory United Methodist Church.
The purpose of the Music Ministry at Emory United Methodist Church is to musically guide everyone into a meaningful worship experience and continuously enhance the worship experience through uplifting and diverse vocal praise and musicianship. The Music Ministry makes every effort to choose and render musical selections that renews the spirit, incites rejoicing, and reminds all persons of God’s love for all mankind and the church. We recognize the power of music in the worship experience and its effects on the preached Word of God, so we consider it both a privilege and our reasonable service to encourage everyone to joyfully give their best offering of praise and adoration to God through song.
